June 2019 Update

Kia ora

Please see below a few messages for June (wow where is this year going)

Car parking - Please note that as per our policy if no park is available then parents will need to park roadside or wait till space is available in the car park. We have one disability carpark and currently two families that we are aware of, that need to use this park. For other families please note this park must not be used at any time, other than in the case of an emergency where you needed to be as close to the building as possible to collect an injured child. Thanks to the parent who we asked yesterday to park elsewhere in the inclement weather. We appreciate your co-operation and consideration.

New appointment - we have appointed a new teacher in Hikurangi, Sarah who started with us today and is looking forward to working alongside you and your tamariki. Welcome to Grow Sarah, we hope you have many happy days at Grow. Please introduce yourself to Sarah when you have a moment.

Matariki - our Matariki celebration is next Thursday 13th June at Grow - 5pm - 6.30pm. Attached is the flyer again, we cannot wait to see you all there!

Sickness - Thank you to our families who have been keeping their sick children at home. We know it is often hard with working families and this time of year is extra hard with the change of seasons. We really appreciate your cooperation by ensuring your child/ren does not attend if they are sick. If your child/ren is absent please remember to phone or email the centre.

Thank you
Grow ECE Team
